Well, I didn't leave with Dad on Sunday as planned... My throat started hurting again on Saturday night and I had to see a doctor on Sunday afternoon. I have another angina/pharyngitis this time and started my third series of antibiotics this month. Doctor told me to rest 2-3 days... I was very disappointed not to be able to take off on my hike but have been sleeping mostly the last 3 days so it was probably a good thing I stayed here. I'm hoping to join Dad in Bourg St. Pierre tonight and start walking tomorrow. Hopefully I will be able to go all the way to Vercelli this time. We will be taking it easy of course. Please pray for a full recovery.
Ben je n'ai pas pu partir avec papa dimanche comme prévu... Ma gorge a commencé à me faire mal samedi soir et j'ai dû voir un médecin dimanche après-midi. J'ai une nouvelle angine et pharyngite cette fois et j'ai commencé ma 3ème cure d'antibiotiques ce mois. Le médecin m'a dit de me reposer 2-3 jours... J'étais très déçue de ne pas pouvoir partir sur mon pélerinage mais j'ai beaucoup dormi ces 3 derniers jours donc c'est peut-être mieux que je sois restée ici. J'espère rejoindre papa à Bourg St-Pierre ce soir et commencer à marcher demain. Espérons que je puisse aller jusqu'à Vercelli cette fois. Nous allons prendre notre temps et y aller doucement.
